In 2008, six partners founded Working Lands Investment Partners, LLC to generate superior returns from the sustainable management of working lands and to offer clients exposure to a new and growing asset class. Our collective experience in a wide variety of traditional and emerging investment and land management activities has given us a unique perspective to help capture opportunities that have historically gone unrealized by investors. Our strategy combines proprietary, in-house financial, biophysical and economic modeling to determine the most financially rewarding and ecologically productive management strategies.

Each of the Working Lands' partners brings a complementary skill set to help unlock these returns, including natural resource management, property acquisition, project finance, legal, land use, entitlement and rights management, environmental credit project development, and portfolio and risk management. Our experience managing institutional investments also gives us a keen understanding of the performance objectives, client service needs, and commitment to transparency that institutional investors require. Our goal is to provide clients a differentiated investment option while engaging in prudent portfolio and risk management.

Working lands contain financial and environmental values that have gone unnoticed and untapped for too long.
